Great restaurant in Pempelfort, good Japanese cuisine, fair prices, friendly service. The white wine wasn't quite cool, but there were huge ice cubes. It's nice to sit outside. The waitresses go out of their way to ensure that guests have a pleasant and safe stay. Very good corona hygiene concept! We'd love to come back ?

I am a Japanese living in Düsseldorf, and I chose this shop from many Japanese restaurants. Was disappointed. The price is high, but the taste is not good.

Reasonable value for money, reasonable food, nice service. Not earth shattering, but absolutely fine. Solid 3 stars from my point of view.

The sushi was delicious, but also very expensive. You can definitely eat in other restaurants as well but cheaper.

The food was very tasty, but the portions are so small that they are once more filling. To ask 15 € for a max 150g beef, without side dish etc. is very steep. If you really want to get full, you have to leaf through at least 30 € / person. The quality is good in itself, but not so outstanding that it would justify the price.

Excelent if you are looking into western Japanese cuisine.

The food was plentiful and of high quality. The restaurant is quite small but cozy. Unfortunately, there was a smell of toilet stone in the entire dining room, which is deceptive of the experience as it is quite unpleasant to eat. A door in the aisle of the guest room and toilet could probably easily fix the problem. In terms of food, I can definitely recommend the restaurant !? We will definitely come back again.

The shop is very small, you may have to bring some waiting time on Friday evening. It was also very loud because the space is so minimal. However, the atmosphere was really nice and the sushi was incredibly delicious! 5 stars and we will definitely be back

This restaurant serves mini portions at full portion prices (note the size of that cake relative to the fork in the picture below). And this isn't one of those artful places that delivers lots of flavor in small packages, either. The little food we did receive was utterly bland and instantly forgettable. Unfortunately, the miserable food was also paired with abysmal service. Ever been ignored by (multiple!) waiters in an otherwise empty restaurant? I have. And when I did manage to flag someone down, the simplest things took excruciatingly long. Look elsewhere.

My absolute favorite Japanese in Dusseldorf. In the district Pempelfort. Friendly staff. Large selection of everything the Japanese cuisine gives. My personal recommendation: Vulcano roll (salmon in tempura dough) A terrace is also available.

Sushi quality alright. Unfortunately, the service is awful. Waiter does not have knowledge about menu and vegetarian options. Being charged the same price for veggie sushi as for fish, it’s not a place I would return so soon. Service mentality and attitude lacking. Sad but true.

Amazing! The menu is rich. We ordered twice. The food is served in a good timing. It is served warm in a wonderful look and feel. It was delicious especially the Dragon Rolls! Their drinks and cocktails are also perfect. The staff is too friendly. The place is cozy. The only thing that would cause trouble is to find a free parking lot in that area! Would I go there again? Yesssssa! Do I recommend this restaurant? Yesssssa!

was ok . male staff very nice and attentive, female staff, so-so. the food is not 100% Japanese but not bad.. mediocre.. some weird Western twists.. fish medium quality. bad lighting in the restaurant.

Very good authentic Japanese resturant / bar. Slight problem with service and variety of menu. Other than that, very satisfying.
